Is It Possible To Set Up A Wireless Network Using Only A Wifi Enabled Computer?

May 19th, 2009 | by Frenday |

I want to run a wireless network off my desktop computer that is connected to the internet via cat 5.
Is it at all possible?
I am living in a dorm room where no wireless is available and I want to be able to get online with my Ipod Touch.

You can create an ad hoc (computer to computer) wireless network, but I’m not familiar with the Touch enough to know if it will be able to use that or not.

Yes, if you mean by having a wireless “host” and connect all of the computers/iPod Touches to the router with the cable and via wireless wifi.
