What Type Of Hard Drive Should I Buy For My Labtop?

I am looking for a external hard drive for my labtop but I am so confused, dont even know where to start! I have a Toshiba Satellite labtop a130/a135, can you please tell me anything to get started, I want to order one by friday!

    Western Digital makes a nice unit but I would Recommend a Seagate model. The Seagate model’s usually run at 7200 rpm which means you’ll get optimum speed from the unit. It will more than likely be a bit faster than you laptop memory.
    When it comes down to it just make sure that you get the storage capacity that you’re going to need and that the external unit has a running speed of at least 7200 rpm. I download a sh!t ton of music so I have 750 gigs which I haven’t come near using.

    Any external hardrive will do as long as it is portable and durable, and it meets your desired capacity, External harddrive are plug and play and uses usb,
