nod32, kaspersky, mcafee.
i have nod32 and mcafee.
best free one is avg. i suggest you get nod too.
get spybot search and destroy, and trend micro hijack this for spyware malware.

Consumer reports recently rated BitDefender the best. 9th in it’s list was AVIRA+Windows Defender, both free (Windows Defender is Microsoft product).
They tested by creating new viruses from old ones, then checking which ones caught them right away. They also checked false-positives, which are when something gets reported as a virus or spyware when it is not.

There are so many out there..I would recommend Norton Anti-Virus as one example..I’ve been subscribed to it for 4 years now and it’s wiped out a lot of viruses for me as well as spy-ware and such..If you are on a budget or don’t wish to spend any money..try AVG Anti-Virus..i heard it’s good and I guess for a small fee you can upgrade it. Just Google it and find out for yourself.

There isn’t a single best. Each program has their own flaw, but I agree with the above poster. Nod32 is the best you can get, but you should get another program to supplement it.

Kaspersky 7 since it has its proactive defense feature which lets you guard your registry even you dont have the updated virus list. THe problem on it is that you have to pay for it.
