Which way would choose to get money from this discovery to search for other cures when you hate marketing or fundraising? How could we get honestly paid for our time and money invested in this project?
We would like to cash in to keep doing what we seem to be good at: reseaching.

Talk to companies who would use your research to create a final product. If this is something really good, I would also look to patent the idea so you don’t lose all the hard work to the corporate companies. If it’s something that really would sell, I’m sure they will negotiate a price/terms with you.

It’s time to talk to the manufacturers. Contract with them to manufacture it for you and then hire a third party to get your product distributed. An advertising firm could do the marketing piece for you.
