Looking To Enter Into The Stock Market, Need Website Reviews?

July 11th, 2009 | by Frenday |

Im an 18 year old college student, and wanting to get into entities trading. Obviously i do not have the kind of money to get a broker, so i’ve been looking for an online brokerage. I am going to be making a maximum of 50 trades a month. And ive been to a ton of review sites but every one says something diffrent about hidden fees or of the sort. Also proboly a stupid question but when they say like 4 dollars for a trade theyre not talking about one stock right?! theyre talking about that particular trade? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Before you enter the stock market, I suggest you go through the “Fool’s School” athttp://www.fool.com/School.htm
which includes a lesson on picking a broker.
I strongly urge you to start in the market by investing instead of trading, or, if you insist on trading, to decide ahead of time how much you can afford to lose and not putting any more than that at risk.
Do not be afraid of not finding the absolute best brokerage. If you get a very good one that should be more than adequate. Remember people used to make money in the market before there were on-line brokerages and commission were hundreds of dollars per trade.

Yes, a commission of $4 for a trade means a total of $4 for the entire trade, not $4 per share.
