I Can’t Seem To Downlaod Avast Antivirus Onto My Computer! It Keeps Saying That An Error Occurred During Setup?

It is because i already have Mcafee security centre on my computer? ime planning to get rid of this however after i download a better antivirus system. help! wot do i do to download avast?

    You are saying that you would remove Mcafee after installing Avast Antivirus, right?
    Well you have to remove McAfee to successfully install AVAST ANTIVIRUS. It would take only few minutes to install. Don’t worry, no viruses would come in just a few minutes. And if they come, remove them after installing Avast Antivirus.

    You need to first uninstall Mcafee, because it is probably blocking other
    antivirus to download, So you have to go to control panel: choose prgrams and features and click on Mcafee program and choose uninstall and after when that is finished you will be probably be able to donload it if not try another website to download it

    8 STEPS to GET TO IT!!!
    1.Download CCleaner. It’s free and really helps.
    2.Open CCleaner, go to Tools>Uninstall>Mcafee Security Center.
    3.Weep, say goodbye to the worst anti-virus ever.
    4.You don’t have to do step 3, just go ahead and uninstall, in other words, KILL AND BURN. LMAO.
    5.Once that’s done, restart your computer [very important or else your computer will go SLOW, i think..lmao!! BUT JUST RESTART!]
    6.Go to filehippo.com, or just go directly to their site and download it.
    7.Wait .. open and install.
    8.Enjoy and explore yer new anti-virus! and you dont have to worry, its perfectly safe.
    I dont really know the difference between AVG and Avast! but ive only tried Avast! so go for Avast! :D
    P.S-Mcafee sucks for life. lmao!! [no offence.]

    if you got the same error
    try to download avast again
    or try different website

    It looks like you are being blocked by some permissions. Make sure that you are the administrator, and you have the current antivirus turned off. If you are using Internet explorer to download it, save it to the desktop and run it from there. If you are using Firefox do the same.

    You need to uninstall McAfee first! They’ll clash together and yes, that’s mostly the reason why. So uninstall your current anti-virus programme, then go back onto the avast! Anti-virus website and then download it from there.

    Make sure your mcafee securityand any other anti virus systems are turned off while you are loading Avast as they will comprimise each other. I use Avast all the time and have no problems

    First get McAfee uninstalled from the computer. Two antivirus softwares always counterfeit with each other. But it is advisable not to go for Avast if you have McAfee. McAfee is better choice than Avast.

    Just ta let ya no mcafee is a paid version.Its WAY better than avast free edition.But if mcafee was a trail free version them unstal it first. and then avast.
