August 27th, 2009 | by Frenday |

Webroot Antivirus and Antispyware detected the file C:\HP\BIN\EndProcess.exe as App/Killit-A but i read all hp computers have this and its for closing unresponsive programs. Is this a false positive?

hp and Compaq have a lot of files/software that are picked up as spyware and viruses, that file is not at risk

It’s most likely that it has a security vulnerability – something bad could happen, but it hasn’t yet. Best check with HP to see if they have an updated version.
