How To Get Rid Of The Antivirus Name & Logo In My Systems Properties?
September 14th, 2009 | by Frenday |I once installed an antivirus program, after a couple of weeks, it was uninstalled because it was not to my expectation. I was annoyed when I view my systems properties, Tab General, it shows the following : “Manufactured and Supported by XXXXXXXX (complete with it’s Logo), Solution for your IT”, I tried everything I could to get rid of it but to no avail. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Without knowing WHAT antivirus you had installed NO ONE can help,
but try contacting the people that made it and ASK THEM !

I would search the registry for this.
Do a search in the registry for the phrase Manufactured and Supported by XXXXXXXX , Solution for your IT and the program name. It might take awhile, but find all of the entries and delete them.
But, you must be comfortable with editing your registry. You should make a back up of it, just in case.
