My Internet server (At&t/Yahoo) gives me McAfee free with my DSL. Its seems to me like the best Security Software. I had Norton but had problems.

Use avast!, but back it up with SpybotS&D, SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes. The combination will keep your computer spotless…

You could use AVG anti-virus, there is a free version it works well for me on my kids pc, for mine I use AVG too but the one you pay for so I have extra protection. On both of them they scan your computer everyday.
