ParetoLogic is probably not legit. There are tons of complaints about it.
On both these sites, scroll down to the comments/complaints:
Web of Trust - http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/pareto…
McAfee SiteAdvisor - http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/paretol…

Technically yes, you Can.
But realistically you should not. This is because AVG and Pareto has tow different antivirus engine and the might conflict with each other.
But from experience i can tell you can use AVG and Malwarebytes at the very same time without conflict. Malwarebytes is superb and free.
you can find it here

The rule of thumb is you shouldn't have more than one on demand anti-malware running at the same time. However, you may have one real time anti-malware, and one on demand scanner (no real time protection) and occasionally scan with the real time scanner to pick up anything the other one may have missed

No,they will conflict and lock up your PC and may even lead to the BSOD if one is not uninstalled or disabled. If you decide to keep AVG but want to add a layer of anti-virus protection, the only program that you can use is PC Tools Threatfire which is available free through CNET at http://www.download.com and PC Tools web page http://www.pctools.com/

Never run 2 A/V programs @ the same time as you will have interference between the 2 programs & neither will operate to it's full capacity.

Yes for scanning, no for real time protection.
Just use Avast - complete full protection.http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-…

not unless you want conflicts, two antivirus programs will try to scan files at the same time and will most likely slow your macine to a crawl or conflict with each other.
