I strongly recommend Threat fire because it use very little system resources (5 MB RAM) and it won’t slow down your system. http://www.threatfire.com/

    DONT DOWNLOAD AVG…….
u know what my friend everytime they need antivirus ALL PEOPLE WILL ANSWER AVG but went AVG had a problem they RUN AWAY……
AVG IS ONLY FOR POPULARITY BUT IN DETECTION OF WILD VIRUSES ARE VERY POOR / LOW DETECTION RATE AS COMPARED WHAT I RECOMMEND…ACCORDING TO MY SOURCE….
in my opinion better change ur antivirus with AVIRA it has FREE and PAID COMPLETE SOFTWARE…
    i recommend AVIRA ANTIVIR….http://www.free-av.com/http://www.avira.com/en/downloads/avira_…
    l
i reccommend also this FREE antispyware….http://www.malwarebytes.org/http://www.superantispyware.com/

as Micheal says dont download AVG or norton or macaffe
    Best all rounder is avast
Best all rounder for Spyware is superantispyware
thats assuming you want free software
If you dont mind paying a little bit then use avast for virus (Free) and malwarebytes (Paid for subscription) for spyware protection

Kaspersky is by far the best program Ive come across, maybe have a try, and i recommend kaspersky internet security – include a firewall, anti-virus and other products,
hope it can help, and not lag ur pc,
    best regards

I am not sure. But Norton and AVG don’t seem to lag the computer

AVG Grisoft does not require much of the computers CPU/RAM
    Likewise with Avast
I have no problem with them.
