If I Install Antivirus Software On An Infected Machine From A Flash Drive?

if I install antivirus from a flash drive onto an infected PC, then plug the flash drive back into a clean machine, can the clean machine be infected?

If it’s the right type of virus it can.
Just use a CD/DVD. Burn the Installation file for the antivirus onto it, put it in the infected machine, install. If the CD was finalized (Or “Mastered”) Then nothing can be written to it.

Many AV programs have an option for a boot-time CD (or you can make one yourself). This is a safer option, especially if you don’t know much about virus protection. But if you’re determined to use a pen drive simply use Autorun Eater or Flash Disinfector to disinfect your flash drive before re-using it.

Yes it can be infected you would have to reformat it before you put it in a clean machine. You could reformat it using an apple mac.

if that clean pc has an antivirus then you are safe or you can use the antivirus from the clean pc to scan the flash drive for and malware.

Yes off course windows application have exe extension most of the virus attacked executable file do not install and insert flash drive in cleaned pc
