We’re having trouble understanding your question. I’m going to paraphrase / rewrite your question again twice and then answer both questions. I’m trying to take you literally from what you’re typing with the first one, and broadly what you’re communicating from the second one. Those are completely different questions. We cannot see your screen.
“Why does the folder containing the contents of the files for my Virus scanner open, every time I start up my computer?”
This is an unusual thing to have happen. Under normal operation windows explorer, the program used to view your folders and the files contained there-in, does NOT load on every single startup. And yes I agree that would be very irritating, I’ve had something like this happen to me before.
Check your Start –> Program Files –> Startup. See if you have a link there for explorer.exe or for “c:program filesmy annoying program”. You can just right click from there to remove that.
If you’re not finding it there, then try Start –> Run –> msconfig then click on the Startup tab and scroll down through the items there and see if you can spot it. There are various ways it might be loading, you can probably figure it out by looking for the folder destination. Something like “c:program filesMy Annoying Program”, somewhere in there.

Answer #2 — possible alternative question –
“When I boot my computer, the full security center console loads every time I boot up my computer.”
(and yes I agree that is extremely antagonisticly annoying, especially considering how slowly those screens want to load)
I initially assumed this was NOT the problem because someone thumbed down the lady who responded before me.
There are 3 potential culrpits here –
a. As she correctly stated, you may not have run an initial virus scan of your computer, which the virus software wants to have before it will stop pestering you. This is related to b.
b. There is a setting somewhere in the settings for the security console to tell it NOT to load on startup. There could also be an option for “when there is a problem, load the security console on startup”, which goes hand-in-hand with a. It correctly perceives your never having had an initial scan as a potential security issue.
c. There’s confusion between the windows security center (we’re assuming Windows XP here) and your software product’s security center. You will have to tell one or the other to be the master and make the other shut up.
I hope this helps.
If this still isn’t answering your issue please supply more information — what OS you have, what version numbers you’re running, how long has this issue been there (since you installed the Antivirus software or did it start after you had it for awhile..?). Describe the window that shows “the full contents of my antivirus program as a file folder” try hitting print-screen, then Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Paint, click Edit and Paste, then File Save, save it as a jpg. Now you can show a literal copy of what your screen looks like.

you didn’t specify the type of the antivirus you are using,so all i can say go to the option or the configuration and you will find something related to this issue.

Knowing the program would be helpful. Hopefully you are running antivirus from a reliable vendor like mcafee, have it properly configured, and automatically updating.
If you have never run a full scan on your computer.. this could be a reason for the virus scanner to be opening. Most scanners want you to perform a complete scan when they are installed and will continue to prompt you to do so unless you click the proper setting to make it stop and/or run the scan.
If by contents of a file folder you mean windows explorer is opening …
You could check your startup folder on the start > programs > startup and make sure noone added the folder there by accident.
Good luck.
