Does Anybody Know Of A Good Software Program To Transfer Photos From My Camera To My Computer?

October 13th, 2009 | by Frenday |

The software that came with my camera isn’t very good and it won’t let me upload most of my pictures for unknown reasons. Any suggestions?

Just drag and drop from the camera to a folder on your hard drive with Windows Explorer.

If you have an sd card or memory card and you have a slot for it on your computer, it’s a ten or more times faster transfer than if you hook the camera up via usb. Just use whatever file transfer program already on the computer.

Picasa would do the job. But as the others said, when you connect your PC, the auto play would launch “Scanner and Camera wizard” on XP and Vista which would do the job as well.
