I am a youtube partner and the most I have ever gotten is 5.00 haha.
They select one of your videos to become a partner. It has to have LOTS of views and you cannot have any copyrighted material anywhere on your youtube not even 1 second!
My video had 805,000 views before it was chosen.
They stuck all kinds of crappy ads on the video and everytime someone clicks them I get like .2 cents lol.
Not worth it…. Not going to get rich off of it unless your like some kinda scammer and if you are you should just die. =)

Not much. First you must become a YouTube Partner. Then depending on how many additional views you get AFTER becoming a partner, you will get paid depending on the average amount of views. Also, YouTube changes the pay rate all the time.
