AVG is very good at what it does I use it on all my windows computers and they are all running great. In my experience you will only get a virus, if your looking for one and in the one case when I was, the second I downloaded it, AVG gave me a warning and removed it. I HIGHLY recommend switching, not to mention that it will save your computer's resources as well. YES! Windows Firewall has a lot of vulnerabilities; but if you use Windows Firewall with a free anti-virus AND you have a router with a built in firewall, then you're fine.
