There are lots of free operating systems out there that are virus free, why should you buy anti virus software that can't guarantee you don't get viruses they only help to stop known viruses not the new 1000's plus viruses that are released every week. I got rid of McAfee because it was taking too much of the system resources and now I'm using Avast! free home edition. It's worked great for me.
