spyhunter is legitimate software however i’m not sure if it can deal with antivirus2008 as i don’t use it. having a genuine anti-spyware installed on a computer is always an advantage, but if you don’t wanna buy spyhunter, search for free antispyware. your can remove antivirus 2008 manually, this way it won;t cost you a thing for sure. here’s removal tutorial: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-antiviru…

Some nasty things that can get onto your computer which can cause lots of damage are viruses/malware/spyware/adware/trojan horses/worms/bots and the list goes on. Since there are so many things like this, it is only appropriate that you have some antivirus software for protection. The ones I use are:
1. AVG Free 8.0
2. Spybot Search and Destroy
3. Adware 2007
These are all free programs which you can get. When you use them all together, they will get rid of all the stuff you don’t want on your computer. Even if they don’t get rid of the virus the first time you scan your computer, they will the next time you update and scan. I’ve never had any trouble on this computer ever since we’ve had those programs. Make sure you run them often if you want maximum security. Remember, these programs only get rid of viruses once they are on your computer. They don’t prevent you from getting them. I hope this has helped.

1. Download and run firefox to protect your computer from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ).Browser attacks aren’t easy to spot because they piggyback on legitimate traffic that doesn’t exhibit many obvious warning signshttp://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c…
2. Run the vundo and combo fix http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c…
3. Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malwarehttp://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c…
4. Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c… and superantispyware http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c… to get rid of the nasties
5. Run a complete scan with free curing utility Dr.Web CureIt!http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c…

First, make sure that you have an up to date antivirus program (If you don’t, install Avira AntiVir Personal. If you have one that has expired, uninstall it with RevoUninstaller and then install Avira AntiVir Personal). I would also recommend that you use ThreatFire, Spyware Doctor Starter Edition, and Spybot. Once they are installed, disable System Restore and do full scans with all of them. If you need any extra help, feel free to send me a message on Yahoo Messenger and I can walk you through it or help you some more.
