i have avast antivirus with me. After a specific period it has to download the latest virus definitions? my laptop is connected to the internet, so that rules out any problem but if i need to take the latest antivirus update on a usb pen how do i do it?

You have to download Avast to the pen drive.Plug in the pen drive’ Download Avast’ When the screen comes up that ask you to copy it to c:programs’ Click browse find your usb pen drive letter’ Mine is F’ Click it. It will send it to your pen drive. Everytime you wish to update it’ Plug in your pen drive. Open the program and click update. It will run it from there. Your good to go.

you can download the avast update from avast.com and carry it with you.. download the update weekly if you want the latest update definations and to be updated.. go to avast update download section in avast.com and download the update..
