I like Norton, and your right Norton 360 is okay. But it costs a lot. One of the reasons for this is it’s not only security program. It has the backup feature and the tune up tools.
I use Norton Internet Security 2009, one of the strong points is the Internet protection. It has Identity Safe store your passwords and log on information. Plus site rating bar. Which tells you if the site is safe to buy from, or if the site is a fake. You can buy norton internet from Computersworth for a good price. They offer free shipping. You do have to live in the U.S. You can also download a free trial from Norton. It’s good for 15 days. Here’s a link to Computersworth, so you can check out the prices. When I bought mine copy of Norton it only took 4 days to get it.http://www.computersworth.com/category.c…

There are several good programs. Have a look at http://www.datadefender.net for reviews and download links for the latest programs from the major antivirus companies.
For comprehensive protection you are better with an Internet Security program rather than a basic antivirus.
The best are Kaspersky or ESET (NOD32/ Smart Security 4), but have a look at the other reviews as well. Kaspersky have a 30% discount on at the moment – see the datadefender site for more details.

I recommend letting a security professional help you. Infection detection, prevention and removal is very dangerous, risky, and tough. A part of system security is much more then just having an anti virus program running thats just one small step in the entire part of system security. Thats why I recommend letting a profesional help secure your system completely. The best security programs: malwarebytes and avg. Both work great, how ever its very important to get the system 100% healthy before installing them, or any security for that matter. An infected system can compromise brand new security installed cauing false positives and other nasty things.

What is the best Anti virus program.
There is not really a best one, because everybody has its own preference.
Best Antivirus in my opinion is
ESET NOD32 Anti virushttp://download.cnet.com/ESET-NOD32-Anti…
Your computer is not protected very well with just an anti virus program.
You need a Firewall, Anti spyware, Anti Spam, E-mail scanner etc.
Therefore the best thing to protect your computer is, installing an Internet Security Program.
In my opinion is this by far the best.
ESET Smart Security 4http://www.eset.com/
This website tells you why
I did purchase it and have no regrets what so ever. Worth every penny.
As extra protection I would install this free program
Threatfirehttp://www.threatfire.com/?gclid=CMiNjou…

I like kaspersky myself….
other options (free or paid for) are AVG , Avast, or Antivir.
Anything else bar a few exceptions isn’t really worth the time : )
