How Do I Get Rid Of Antivirus Xp?
February 2nd, 2010 | by Frenday |This is the second time it’s showed up on my computer. Help me get rid of it for free, without going to a bunch of sites to download it. I’m not extremely computer savy, but I can understand most things. Please don’t explain to me what Antivirus XP is, I already know.

AntiVirus XP is a complicated program and it takes A LOT more than one post to describe how to remove it.
I have a live chat feature on my website. My website it located here: http://www.geocities.com/malwarehunter@r…

You will need to download at least one free program to help you -
Restart your computer in safe mode with networking – Keep tapping f8 key while you are starting – Select your hard drive (not cd or floppy disc – Scroll with the up / down keys to get networking – Once the computer is ready then you can go to internet explorer and type in Malwarebytes – Download the program then click the update button – Run a Full scan as this program is designed to catch Av XP – Follow any instructions to delete the infection then turn off the computer and start in normal mode – It should be cleaned if you follow these steps –
Sorry about details but you said you wanted help with them

The instructions on this link seem quite lengthy but once you get started it all becomes quite clear and you may only need to remove a couple of files from the windows folder. Read carefully first though. http://www.download.com/8301-2007_4-1004…

I can recommend the same program I used to remove Antivirus XP. You can scan your computer for free at http://www.spyware-fix.net
Good luck!
