Is It Possible To Get The Antivirus 2009 From A Webcam When I Talk To A Friend On Messenger?

February 8th, 2010 | by Frenday |

I was talking with a friend on Messenger and he invited me to view his webcam and we usually do, and an ad popped up before the cam started and I got the message from antivirus 2009, which I now know is a Trojan virus. How is this possible thru the webcam?

It is possible however; I have not seen this with this virus as of yet. They are updating the code to it and there are about 30 different builds of it that I have seen. When I first seen this when it was Anti-Virus 2008, you were able to get rid of it by going into safe mode and just deleting all of their files but the newer versions require a script and sometimes a total reconfiguration. Pain in the @ss!!! – I would love to kick the guy who made this right in the throat! – It comes in under a lot of Anti-virus detection but Norton/McCaffe/AVG/Microtrend have been doing a lot to keep up and I can’t stress enough why this is the perfect reason to have protection and to keep it updated at all times. – This isn’t 100% effective but it is close.
