How Do I Stop My Gateway Web Camera Assistant Software From Auto-loading When I Start My Computer?

February 10th, 2010 | by Frenday |

The software is the little bar that is on the side of you screen. I want to turn it off so it doesn’t show up when I turn my computer on, or become visable agian if I hover over it.

Had same problem, found answer from Asura on notebookreview.com forum. You can disable alot of other junk that loads atstrtup like itunes and adobe.
“It’s loading with startup, you can try and disable it in msconfig. Click start, type in msconfig, hit enter. When the System Configuration window comes up, click on the startup tab, sort the items by Manufacturer, uncheck the Chicony one and hit OK. Restart and let us know if that worked.”
