I would pay someone £2.00 per hour. If it became too expensive I would not use the person. Also a lot of people are people who are old and need a dog walker. So they do not always have a great deal of money.

Honestly I have a dog and $10 an hours sounds great to pay for someone to walk my dog, if the dog is problematic then charge $15 and hour. If you have to many dogs already but someone wants to add in their dog I would say $20 an hour but if their dog is also problematic then I would say $25 and hour and just simply explain to that person that you have many dogs already and your dog isnt easy to handle thats why its that price.

Haha! I asked a girl down the road from me could she walk my dog during the day when I was away. I had someone in the house looking after him but not during the day. She walked and minded dogs for a living and asked for 20euro for an hour. When I looked shocked she said Well 10 euro for half an hour. I have seen her with 2 and 3 dogs on a lead at a time so it could be a very profitable business.
I live in Ireland

maybe 2 dollars a walk. and then a dollar for each additional dog. dont overprice because, no offense, but dog walking isnt that hard. ya no? if you charge like 10 dollars a walk, then people are just going to decide to walk them themselves. in this economy, no one can afford expensive conveniences. another idea is like 10 dollars a week and you walk the dog once a day a week. good lucky with your dog walking buisness!

i would start at 10 an hour an and for more than one dog from one owner adds an extra 5 an hour. people will pay that much. most people don’t have the time to walk their dog for even 30 minutes and they come home after a long day at work they are tired out and want to relax and their dog is bored and needs to run around. walking dogs will make an owners house hold better

I pay my cat sitter £6 a visit.
She comes in to put out food and water and do a litter tray.
A local Agency charges £8 an hour, for all pet care, but they are big business.

don’t ask for much, after all it is only a small task. Say, £5 per walk?
